| What to Wear? |

Polo is an outdoor sport and the fields and facilities are on grass, so keep that in mind when you get ready. Spectators at a polo match wear everything from jeans to high fashion. While some don out high heels, hats, and suits for men, others dress in country casual, or even jeans (no holes, tear-offs etc.). However if you are attending a VIP area or tent you may want to dress up in suits and dresses. Prizes for most fashionable hat.

| Women will never go wrong at a polo match with a nice summer dress. Some wear hats, which not only looks pretty, but is an excellent shield from the sun. The Green Cup of Polo is in July in Washington DC, and it is likely to be hot. Nice skirts and summer tops are excellent choices as well. Heels are difficult to wear on grass, so a nice plateau or a flat sandal may be preferred choices. |

Men wear summer suits or dress pants with a sport coat. Dress shirts and polo shirts are nice choices as well. Keep in mind it will be warm, so something light-weight will probably serve well. White jeans are tradition for polo players, and are of course also much welcome.
